The Racism-Abortion Link:
There is a mountain of historical evidence linking racism with abortion. Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood, was prominent in the early 20th century eugenics movement in the United States of America. Eugenics is the study of heredity improvement through genetic manipulation. Sanger was devoted to the development of a white "Master Race" of human beings, often referring to those who didn't fit her dream as "unfit," "irresponsible," and "reckless". Sanger advocated abortion, forced sterilization, and even killing babies after birth for persons of color. Her ideology of genocide was so cleverly disguised, that in 1966 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. accepted Planned Parenthood's Margaret Sanger Award.

January 26, 2009 Update:
37% of abortions in the United States occur to black women.
57% of blacks attend church at least once a week.
Obama received the following scores on NARAL Pro-Choice America's Congressional Record on Choice for voting pro-abortion:
- 2007: 100%
- 2006: 100%
- 2005: 100%
Well in advance of his election, Obama made his position on the abortion issue very clear: "I have consistently advocated for reproductive choice and will make preserving women's rights under Roe v. Wade a priority as President. I oppose any constitutional amendment to overturn the Supreme Court's ruling in this case."
No instance has been found in Obama's entire career where he voted for any regulation or restriction on the practice of abortion.
On January 9, 2008, Day Gardner, president of the National Black Pro-Life Union, released a statement directed at Black Churches. In the statement, she said:
"Senator Obama doesn't care that abortion has obliterated the rights of more than 15 million black children since 1973. He doesn't care that abortion is the number one killer of African Americans surpassing deaths caused by accidents, heart disease, stroke, crimes, HIV-AIDS and all other deaths... combined!
"He won't make one of his powerful speeches decrying the injustice of abortion providers as they plant killing centers firmly in black communities — making it easier to kill black children. Instead, he actually applauds their efforts! These children are denied their most basic human right — which is the right to life; a right which our ancestors so proudly worked for, marched for and many of them died for."
96% of black voters supported Obama.
As of this writing, President Obama has already rescinded the "Mexico City Policy" which prevented federal money from flowing to Planned Parenthood and other abortion providers to fund their overseas operations. This will dramatically increase their number.
Furthermore, Obama's economic stimulus package, now before Congress, is structured to provide at least an additional $300 million to the United States abortion industry.
